Multi pack labels(FP/MP)
The multi-pack label shall always be placed in the upper left corner of the multi-pack on the short side of the unit load，If the unit load is placed on a BL/B the label shall be placed on the long side
When using RTS-packaging solutions it is important to place the FP-label on a part of the packaging that will be removed during the unpacking in the store
Unit load labels(ULL)
The Unit load label (ULL) does not replace the need of FP-labels
The first unit load label shall be placed on the same side as the article/multi-pack label
It is not acceptable to place the labels directly on the boxes， if the unit loads consist of only consumer packages or is a RTS-packaging solution. The unit loads require some protection before label application.

4-way handling means that you can handle the unit load from both the long and the short sides. 四向进叉（4-way）搬运指在长边和短边都可以搬运单元货物。
The preferred unit load width shall be within 540 mm to 860 mm. With this width， all handling and storing can be done in an efficient and safe way.
优先选用的单元货物宽度是540mm到860mm之间。在这个宽度范围内，所有搬运和储存都可高效安全的进行。
540 mm comes from narrow unit loads handling with standard equipments. Exceptions to this shall be handled if products requires this. See Figure 58.

Different fixation methods are allowed within IKEA. Generally the following methods are available: strapping， stretch filming， and shrink filming. What method to use depends on， for example， the shape， the weight of the goods that shall be fixed， and the performance and quality of the fixation method. Special requirements are specified in the packaging requirement (packaging instruction).
