Dear Delegate:
The International Conference of GIS and Remote Sensing (遥感) in Hydrology (水文学)， Water Resources and Environment [ICGRHWE] will be held atthe Three Gorges Dam construction site (施工现场)，China from September 16 to 19， 2003. The Ministry of Water Resources (水利部) of China， the International Association of Hydrologic Science (国际水文学联合会)， and more than 10 international and national organizations will sponsor this conference.
Topics include Hydrology， Water Resources， Environment， GIS {Geographic Information System地理信息系统}and Remote Sensing， and Development of Yangtze River and Three Gorges Project， which cover most of the areas of Hydrology， Water Resources and Environment.
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee {LOC地方组委会}， I sincerely invite you to attend ICGRHWE and present a paper. The deadlines for proposing (提议) special sessions and for submitting (投稿) papers abstracts are October 31， 2002 and January 31， 2003 respectively.
Please share this information with your colleagues and professionals you know who may have interest in this conference. I look forward to receiving you at the Three Gorges， China next year.

Dear Professor Kawasaki，
In light of your renowned(知名的) research and your contributions in the field of GRIN polymers (梯度折射率聚合体介质)，we would like to formally invite you to serve as an Invited Speaker at the upcoming Grin Polymer Materials Symposium. This Symposium is to be held at Union Chemical Laboratories (Hsinchu， Taiwan) on March 15， 1994. We hope your lecture will include a discussion of trends and current developments in GRIN POF（梯度变折射率塑胶光纤）
We will provide a roundtrip airfare ticket(往返机票)and accommodations(食宿). We would suggest you to stay here for one week (if at all possible) so that you can enjoy some of the sights that Taiwan has to offer. Please advise us of your flight number(航班) so that we can meet you at the airport.

have a sufficient amount of time to make copies and appropriate arrangements.
