Dazhou City is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province. Its area is 16，600 square kilometers and it has a population of 6.5 million. It’s the one of the most population cities in Sichuan. Dazhou is rich in natural gas and coal， so we call it “Oriental Pearl” of Sichuan.
There are many famous resort in Dazhou.
Dazhou is called “The Hometown of China Gas”(中国气都 )， “The Hometown of China Ramie”(中国苎麻之乡 )， “The Hometown of China Olive”(中国油橄榄之都) and “Oriental Pearl of Sichuan”(川东明珠 ). Besides， Xu xiake called it as “Amazing Resort of southwest”(西南奇胜).
Phoenix Hill (凤凰山)
Climbing Phoenix Hill In January ninth day is Dazhou’s specific festival. According to records， Yuan Zhen had done many things for Dazhou people. So when he left Dazhou， the peole claimed the montain in order to see him off. Later， Dazhou people will climb the Phoenix Hill at this time of every year .
In that day， there are more than 300，000 people claimbing the mountan.
Zhenfo Mountain(真佛山)
It was built in 1810 and it is the Buddhism paradise， which is known to all locally.
If you want to arrive the top of the Zhenfo mountain， you need climb 1118 stone steps. You will be proud of youself when you stand the peak of the mountain.
Bai Lixia(百里峡)
Bai Lixia is located in the northeast edge of Xuanhan county. There has many scenery， such as Xiannvyan ， Nantianmen， Guanyindong and so on.
Batai mountain(八台山)
Batai mountain is locted in Wayuan county. The altitude is 2，273 meters.
It famous for Guan yuntai ， Duxiufeng ， Qipanshan and so on.
