He was scouted by a FNC casting agent， who happened to see the photos of Yong-hwa at the ski resort on the Internet which were re-uploaded from his personal blog .
When he was 20 years old， he went to Japan to study music.

Jung Yong-hwa made his singer debut（出道） with the rock band CN Blue in Korea on 14 January 2010. Bluetory is CN Blue's first mini album， and the title track” I'm a loner “became an instant hit in Korea.
