Jolie made her screen debut as a child alongside her father， Jon Voight， in Lookin' to Get Out (1982)， but her film career began in earnest a decade later with the low-budget production Cyborg 2 (1993).
At the age of 14， Jolie dropped out of her acting classes and aspired to become a funeral director. She began working as a fashion model， modeling mainly in Los Angeles， New York， and London.
Jolie suffered episodes of suicidal depression throughout her teens and early twenties. Her career prospects began to improve after she won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in TNT's George Wallace (1997).

Angelina’s involvement with UNHCR (联合国难民署) began with a mission to Sierra Leone(塞拉利昂-非洲) ， a small African country where has been devastated by years of brutal civil war.
Seeing first hand the enormous challenges that refugees face was a life altering experience for Angelina， who decided to use her fame to aid their cause.
In 2001，Angelina appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR .
Some of her experiences were written and published in her popular book Notes from My Travels whose profits go to UNHCR.
As a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador， Angelina uses her status as a superstar to generate media coverage about the plight of refugees and the conditions under which they live.
She has traveled widely to remote refugee camps and receiving centers in countries including Tanzania（ 坦桑尼亚）、Namibia（纳米比亚）、Cambodia(柬埔寨) 、 Pakistan（巴基斯坦）and so on.
Angelina and her husband Brad Pitt currently have biological kids Shiloh， five， and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne and adopted Maddox， 10， Pax， seven， and six-year-old girl Zahara.And now they want to adopt another child.
