As a result ， cattle in west should be transported to the east ， and thus there was a boom of cowboys who guide the cattle to train stations. Features The original trousers of cowboy was chaps(皮套裤）. Then they are replaced by jeans . Jeans made by denim are strong and suitable for hard work . They are easy to wear ， with a lot of pockets that can hold many things . Culture Clothing Cowboy clothes are extremely popular and fashion . According to a survey ， consuming behavior relating to cowboy culture constitutes one fourth of the US consumption . Jeans ， first designed by Levis Strauss ，are the strongest proof . Jeans are comfortable to wear and they serve as a sign for two American values : creativity and rebellion. Games Nowadays ， cowboys are becoming rarer . But some states ， especially Nevada ，are most famous for their cowboy traditions. There are many relative games called rodeos（竞技）.One of the event is Bull Riding ， in which cowboys must ride on the bull back for at least 8 seconds . Besides ， they must do some specific actions to gain scores. Spirit As American culture spreads abroad ，its culture， along with its literature and film has been thoroughly appreciated by millions of people . For many in the United States and the world， cowboys are heroic and mysterious figures ， and people love their pursuit of freedom and individualism. They are seen as horse hero because they are calm ，helpful， hardworking and adventurous.
