My Favorite NBA Player ——When I went to ABCD Camp I was given number 175. I thought that’s what my ranking was. So I went out to prove something.Now，I wear a different number. (T-Mac got “MVP” of the camp at last in 1996， and after that， he wore number 1) T-Mac was one of the earliest players to go straight out of high school and get drafted into the NBA. In 1997 NBA Draft， he was drafted ninth overall in the first round by the Toronto Raptors. From 1997 to 2000，he played for Toronto Raptors，but he was just a benchwarmer at that time. A year after he came here ，his cousin Vince Carter joined Raptors and quickly became the soul of this team.McGrady was overshadowed by his cousin，so he wanted to go to another team to be a starter. In 2000， T-Mac came to the Orlando Magic where he improved so much during his first season in the new home that he made the all-star team. The next year，he was presented with the NBA Most Improved Player Award. In Orlando Magic， T-Mac arrived in his perfect physical condition and reached the top of his career. In the 2002-2003 season he averaged 32 points per game，winning the NBA scoring title.The following season he averaged 28 points per game and got the scoring title again. With this performance， he became the fourth player in the past 12 years to score over 60 points in a game. T-Mac played well in Magic， but his teammate couldn’t give him enough support. He was so depressed by the team’s bad ranking. Going into his sixth NBA season，McGrady had been one of the most successful young players. During the 2004 off season，he came to the Houston Rockets where he teamed up with Chinese little giant Yao Ming. It’s no doubt that they two were the most powerful pair in the association. He seemed found good teammate this time. All the Rockets fans believed that with these two guys they would got the champion. The future seemed so bright.
