Legends The King of Heaven awarded him with a Longevity（长寿） medicine. Houyi’s wife named Chang’e， stolen the medicine. Chang’e was flying into the moon on the 15th day of the eighth lunar（农历） month when the moon is full and bright，then she become the goddess of moon. Mini-holiday Now， Mid-Autumn Festival is listed as an official holiday in China. Many people use this ‘mini-holiday’ to visit family and friends.（如今，中秋节已被列为国家法定节假日。很多人会借中秋小长假探访亲朋好友）
