The Truman Show By the author Who is Truman? Truman is a true man! But he has lived in an untrue world for about 10，000 days. He is the only true part of his own teleplay， everyone， including his best friend， his wife， his workmate， his manager， his neighbor， is one of the performers of the Truman show. But in order to keep the teleplay really true to the audience， his father is Truman’s true father who “died” when Truman was a young kid. From the picture we could realize that Truman’s world ，the Sea haven town， is definitely an untrue world. Truman’s real father missed Truman so much that he could hardly contain himself. So he decide to play an unimportant role in the teleplay and bump into Truman. Truman recognize him， since then， everything became very strange in Truman’s untrue life. In case I don’t see you， good afternoon good evening and goodnight! About the film review The film is a little ridiculous，it’s definitely an untrue story because it’s illegal and impossible. But， on the other hand， the story is very ironical .The media is watching over every single person in the word. Cameras hide everywhere. Wherever you go， whatever you do， despite the things you do are good or bad， the whole world would get to know about it immediately. Artificial rain→ We prefer to believe the world is true. But when we are controlled by an unknown person who nearly means the God to you， we DO feel entirely lost and lonely. Truman couldn’t bear the “truth”， so he made up his mind and try to be recalcitrant [rɪˈkælsɪtrənt] .He used to be afraid of the artificial sea， but he defeat the deepest funk in his heart and escaped.
