Jane Austen (16 December 1775 – 18 July 1817) was an English novelist whose realism， biting social commentary and masterful use of free indirect speech， burlesque and irony have earned her a place as one of the most widely read and best-loved writers in English literature.
她20岁左右开始写作，共发表了6部长篇小说。1811年出版的《理智与情感》是她的处女作，随后又接连发表了《傲慢与偏见》（1813）、《曼斯菲尔德花园》（1814）和《爱玛》（也译《艾玛》）（1815）。《诺桑觉寺》（又名《诺桑觉修道院》）和《劝导》（1818）是在她去世后第二年发表的，并署上了作者真名。
Austen's artistic apprenticeship lasted from her teenage years until she was about thirty-five years old. During this period， she wrote three major novels and began a fourth.[B] From 1811 until 1815， with the release of Sense and Sensibility (1811)， Pride and Prejudice (1813)， Mansfield Park (1814) and Emma (1815)， she achieved success as a published writer. She wrote two additional novels， Northanger Abbey and Persuasion， both published after her death in 1817， and began a third， which was eventually titled Sanditon， but died before completing it.

剧情简介

The biggest goal in life of Mrs. Bennet is to find Mr. Right for her five daughters . Unfortunately， Heaven declines to accept people's wish， the second daughter， Elizabeth， partial to find out 100 reasons not to get married.
可是，当二女儿伊丽莎白遇上一表人才却冷漠傲慢的阔公子达西时，这天造地设的一对璧人儿却因傲慢与偏见心生间隙。他们能否抛开重重障碍终成眷属？我们的伊丽莎白小姐又是否能找到一个让自己结婚的理由呢？
However， when the second daughter， Elizabeth meets a talented but arrogant and cold son Darcy， this couple of people who were perfectiy and ideally matched become jaundiced to each other because of Pride and Prejudice. Can they put aside all obstacles to get married?And whether our Miss Elizabeth can find a reason to let herself get married?
There are seven different marriages presented in the moive.
The marriage between Darcy and Elizabeth reveals the characteristics which constitutes a successful marriage.
In the beginning， Elizabeth and Darcy were distant from each other because of their prejudice. The series of events which they both experienced gave them the opportunity to understand one another and the time to reconcile their feelings for each other.
The marriage between Jane Bennet and Bingley is also an example of successful marriage.
However， unlike Darcy and Elizabeth， there is a flaw in their relationship. The flaw is that both characters are too gullible and too good-hearted to ever act strongly against external forces that may attempt to separate them.
Lydia and Wickham's marriage is an example of an bad marriage. Their marriage was based on appearances， good looks， and youthful vivacity. Once these qualities can no longer be seen by each other， the once strong relationship will slowly fade away.
The marriage between Mr. Collins and Charlotte is based on economics rather than on love or appearance. It was a common practice during Austen's time for women to marry a husband to save herself from spinsterhood or to gain financial security.

My opinion about the moive
In my opinion， both money and love is important.
Money is the basement. Since we are ordinary people， we need to eat， to dress， to live and so on. Money is the basement of marriage .
However， it doesn’t mean that we must get married with rich persons but persons who can at least give you a security of life.
This is the power of love. Loves can really create miracles.
傲慢与偏见，在书中是男女主角爱情上的障碍，但在现实社会中也是人们相互之间交流的障碍，更是在正确对待自己，对待事物上的绊脚石。
Pride and Prejudice， male and female love in the book is on the barriers， but in reality is an obstacle to communication between people， it is treated in its own right， a stumbling block towards the things.
